Brother Max and a novice friar also from Little Portion Franciscan Friary will be with us on October 10th at 8 and 1030 as we continue our thanksgiving for friars, monks and nuns and all who lead the consecrated life in our own Episcopal Church and other traditions. The Rector has invited these brothers to come and share in the parish once again. Brother Max will preach and they will bring the wonderful bread made at the Friary for purchase. Do mark the date. The previous Sunday all humans are invited to attend the Pet Service with their pets. Animals and all God's creatures will share in the liturgy and lead it in a special way
Creativity and Spirituality - Beginning with Eucharist in the Chapel at 9:30am and program starting 10:15 through 11:30. Program dates: Wednesday September 15th, 22nd, 29th, October 6th, October 13th. This program will be led by the clergy. The program will begin with some theological and biblical reflection on the theme of creativity and we will look at visual art, music, dance, poetry and pottery.
Is atheism a form of spirituality? A Parish and Community joint event. Wednesday October 13th at 7pm in the Parish Hall at St John’s of Lattingtown.
A program of discussion and debate led by the Rector and Assistant Rector in it’s new “Open House” program.
The clergy will introduce the theme and review a book by a contemporary French philosopher “The Little Book of Atheist Spirituality” by Andre Comte-Spoonville. Copies will be available for purchase. Wine and Cheese provided.

Vist of The Rev. Dr. Michael Brown - The Senior Minister of Marble Collegiate Church NYC at the Rector’s invitation will be our preacher at 8am on Sunday 5th December. He will return to his own church to preach straight after our 8am.
