Thirty five week program on the following themes:

• The Cross and Atonement Theology
• The Dangerous Dozen – reflections on some thoughtful Christians
• Developing Lay leadership in a modern Church
• Drawing upon the Soul – a five week experience of seeing and drawing.
• The Hound of Heaven by Francis Thompson
• The Lord’s Prayer for Today
• Old Testament Prophets for Today
• Mediators between Human and Divine – Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Krishna
• The Nature of God
• Resurrection and theologies of resurrection
• Self-expression and the Emergence of Healing
• Silent Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament – space for spiritual nurture
• Ten Commandments for Today
• Understanding concepts of sin
• What Scripture reveals “when it gets God wrong”

These begin Wednesday September 14th at 10:15 in the Rector’s Office/Guild Room. Further details will be given on the website and also in the weekly bulletin. Come and be a part of an open and welcoming group who are keen to learn and grow in spirituality and theology. Class will finish with an Informal Eucharist and will all end at 11:45

Sunday October 2nd: Feast of St Francis:

please bring animals to be blessed at both 8 and 10:30 Eucharist. Guest preacher: Richard Jonathan, Franciscan Friar.

Tuesday November 1st: All Saints Day:

Special Service at 9:30am giving thanks for the saints – those unknown and not famous as well as the known. We look at our saints in the stained glass as part of our service

Wednesday November 2nd:

All Souls Day: Commemoration of the Departed : Special service at 9:30 a.m. to pray for all the departed. Please let Karin have the names of any you would like to have especially remembered. All those who have passed since last All Souls Day will be remembered.

Friday November 11th and Saturday the 12th:

Sunday November 20th:

Thanksgiving Sunday and Feast of Christ the King celebrated at 8 and 10:30 a.m.
