Rector and Assistant Rector’s Open Door policy
When Father Simon arrived 8 years ago he began this and since Fr. Michael arrived he has done the same. The Rector was asked by a parishioner at the time “is this something new the Church does?” to which Father Simon replied it is a priority of his ministry.  Many people avail themselves of this one on one pastoral ministry by the clergy. If you yourself would like a conversation about anything or you have need for priestly ministry please call Kate (who is now part time Clergy PA as well as part time Sexton)  on 671.3226 ext. 15 to make an appointment. Let the clergy know if you or a loved one is in need of a listening ear, prayer or advice. The clergy rejoice in being able to being alongside on the pilgrim road.

Episcopal Morning and Evening Prayer are said publicly or in private every day of the year by the clergy and some parishioners. Public celebrations are stated in the weekly calendar. If a parishioner would like help and advice in observing this Prayer of the Church (called The Daily Office) do see the clergy for further information about how to do this. It is a good spiritual anchor for each day.

Every Wednesday Morning Prayer is said at 9am with Eucharist and Homily at 930am.Both services last 30 minutes.   Why not make these a part of your week? These are in Church unless otherwise stated on the bulletin.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available by appointment at any time using The Book of Common Prayer and most especially before Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Easter and Pentecost. Please call the Rector for an appointment

The Laying on of Hands and the Anointing with Oil is offered at any time by appointment and also on the Third Sunday of the month after each service. This is for prayer for oneself and by proxy for any persons who are sick and in need.

The blessing of crosses/ religious objects is available after any service. If you would like a House Blessing please arrange directly with the clergy.
