Happy Mother ’s Day! Happy Pentecost!
WELCOME
We want you to know that we are glad you are here, whether you have been worshipping at St. John’s for many years, have just come recently, are just visiting, or seek a Church community to join. We invite you to return and share fully in parish life. Know when you are not here, we miss you. Welcome back if you have been away!
If you would like to receive a copy of our newsletter or would like to be contacted by the Priest-in-Charge, please complete a Welcome card (found in the pew or in the back of the church) and place it in the offering plate.
Altar Flowers
The Flowers on the Altar are given by Mr. & Mrs. David Brewer, Jr.
in loving memory of her sister, Patricia Hamlin Hall and given by Mr. & Mrs. Whitney D. Pidot, Whitney, Jr. & Ellie & Lorraine, Philip, Seth & Katie in loving memory of George B. Pidot, Virginia Pidot & Diane V. Pidot.
The flowers in the Baptismal Font are given by Lil Gillies in celebration of Mother's Day & the birth of her grandson, Jack.

COFFEE HOUR
There will be refreshments and fellowship in the Parish Hall following the 10:30 service. Hostesses are needed for May and June. Please volunteer.

WALK FOR ST. MARY’S KIDS
Sunday, May 18th at Belmont Park, Elmont at the Marquee. Please join us for a non-competitive ½ mile or 3 mile walk. This will benefit the programs and services for the children of St. Mary’s Healthcare System. Registration 7:30 am; Walk begins 9am. For more information see their web site.
50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
